About Leslie Reid

Leslie Reid

Leslie was born in Vancouver, and now lives in Langley, British Columbia. She is a full time athlete and coach. She began riding at the age of 2 on the family farm and has been involved with horses ever since.

Leslie attended the University of British Columbia, majoring in physical education. She holds her Level III Canadian Coaching Certification, and was named Canada's Coach of the Year in 1989 by Canada's Governing body of horse sport.

Leslie has spent time training in Germany in order to maximize the development of her horses.

Leslie Reid was the first rider to qualify for Canada's 1996 Olympic team and in November of 1996 she captured the Volvo World Cup Dressage Canadian League Final, and, although unable to attend, won the right to represent Canada.
