Every mare in our barn has won at halter, four have been show champions. We will be selling some breeding stock so contact us if you see a horse you like.

La Valenceraie Rubi Demoiselle 6398

"Demi" is of the Henryville line on both sides with some Becancour and a little Viger. We searched for nearly a year to find a mare from a different branch of the line to complement our Henryville stallion and continue our emphasis on breeding Canadians with outstanding temperament.

A granddaughter of Henryville Elite, Demi is a big mare at 15.3 hands with an outstanding shoulder and hip.

She is an absolute "Cadilac" horse to ride with phenomenally smooth gaits.

This 2003 filly came to Five Winds in the fall of 2003 from the Ferme L'Angelus north of Montreal, Quebec. She brings the rare Tonka Wonka blood to our breeding program from her dam Whissell Wonka Ultra 5114, a beautiful dark chestnut mare.

National will mature less than 15 hands and we expect in a few years will produce chestnut foals from Prince as his grandsire, the founder of the Henryville line was a bright chestnut. She will also enable us to raise smaller foals so we can offer the full range of size within the breed standards.
